We will be upgrading our firewall tonight so the site will be up and down during the installation and configuration. I apologize for the very short notice but UPS delivered it a day early and I really want to get it in place. Everything should be back to normal by 11 PM EST.

I apologize for all the recent down time, but we have made lots of changes.

We are done moving the site to a more stable and secure server. Everything should be better now!

We are experiencing lots of technical difficulties at the moment with our server. We are actively creating a new server to host the site on but until then, we will all have to make-do with what is going on.

What’s going on? We have grown too big for our server and it can’t keep up.

So what’s next? Our new server will have more stuff and should be faster. However, while we are transitioning, there may be some weirdness and when you come here, you will be asked to go to a different site. The redirect is an unfortunate side effect of us having to make changes in a hurry.

So what now? Well, we have big news. Very soon, we will be getting a MAJOR upgrade to our system. We will be moving from this sites software package to Drupal. We have incorporated several new features into the new site that have been much sought after as well as the core functionality that you are used to. As with all change, there will be some discomfort associated with it. Please feel free to contact our mods or me if you are having problems. We will have an updated FAQ and some howto’s to help out. I'd like to thank the many members of the community who chipped in and contributed money for the new server.  The equipment is ordered and on its way.  The new server has considerably more horsepower than the old one, so we should see an inprovement is response.  Again, thank you for your donations.
